The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation is the fiscal sponsor for the Sioux Falls Skatepark Fund.
The Fund, founded by the Sioux Falls Skatepark Association, seeks donations to help build a state-of-the-art concrete skatepark at Nelson Park, near Drake Springs Family Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls. Donations from the public are needed to complete the park and provide programming for our community.
Plans for the park feature bowls, terraces, and various levels that mimic the rock formations at Falls Park. They were developed with input from community members and professional skateboarder Kanten Russell.
Donating to Let's Skate will help us create a space where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can come together, share their love for skateboarding, and experience its positive impact on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
